The Luxury of Amenities in Crystal Falls

The community of Crystal Falls never has to go far to enjoy amenities that bring residents together for fun in the Texas sun. From swimming pools to an 11.5-acre community park, Crystal Falls offers something for all ages. Residents of The Boulders enjoy a walkable neighborhood with amenities that include a grotto pool with three waterfalls, sand volleyball court, and open green spaces for all ages to use. The Fairways neighborhood overlooks and has direct access to the picturesque Crystal Falls Golf Club. Cap Rock and Grand Mesa are “dark sky” neighborhoods providing residents a no-streetlight zone perfect for stargazing. Grand Mesa also is located adjacent to the community tennis court, playscape, and 19th Hole Pavilion. The Quarry Park is in the Highlands, an amenity open to all Crystal Falls residents. It features a fishing lake, playscape, pool, disc-golf course, and the 19th Hole Pavilion.

Crystal Falls Golf Club

The Crystal Falls Golf Club enjoys a central location within the community and is located off Crystal Falls Parkway. The 18-hole golf course is owned and operated by the city of Leander and is open to Crystal Falls residents as well as the public. The Golf Club includes a large clubhouse, driving range, pro shop, and a restaurant. The course has been named “Most Scenic Public Golf Course in Central Texas” and features holes to challenge golfers of all skill levels and experience. It’s home to the annual Hill Country Amateur Championship. 

Quarry Park

The Quarry Park at Crystal Falls opened in 2008 and is 11.5-acres of outdoor amenities for residents of the community. It’s located in The Highlands at the corner of Osage Drive and Lakeline Boulevard with parking adjacent to the facilities. Quarry Park features a Junior Olympic-size pool, toddler pool, and splash pad that are open seasonally. The site also has a stocked fishing lake, 18-hole disc golf course, and a picnic area with covered grill. Quarry Park is home to the HOA’s annual Summer Celebration, an exclusive event for Crystal Falls residents. 

Tennis Court

With the Texas Hill Country weather, it’s possible to enjoy a game of tennis year-round and residents of Crystal Falls can do just that. The community tennis court is located near the 19th Hole Pavilion on Crystal Falls Parkway. Come out and play a game with the kids or set up a doubles match with neighbors. The tennis court sits conveniently located across from the golf course driving range and next to the “tot park”, a Playscape area for kids 2 to 6. Parking for the Crystal Falls tennis court is across the street from the Pavilion.

Grotto Pool

The Boulders neighborhood, located in the northeast section of the Crystal Falls community, provides residents and their guests with resort-style amenities that include the Grotto pool and its playscape area. Ideal for the region’s weather, the Grotto is open year-round and features three stunning waterfalls plus underwater seating. It’s the perfect escape for all ages and a great place to socialize with neighbors. The gated area of the Grotto also includes limestone tables and grills for residents to use. Adjacent to the Grotto pool is the sand volleyball court.

18 Hole Disc Golf

It’s time to get out and play a round or two of disc golf in The Highlands at Crystal Falls. The Crystal Falls community is home to many amenities including the 18-hole disc golf course located in Quarry Park at Osage Drive and Lakeline Boulevard. Like a combination of frisbee and golf, disc golf is fun for all ages and skill levels. The disc golf course is open year-round during daylight hours and offers great views of the fishing lake. Parking is at the Quarry Park pool and requires a Crystal Falls vehicle decal. 

Fishing Lake

Crystal Falls residents enjoy easy access to the fishing lake at the 11.5-acre Quarry Park located in The Highlands at Osage Drive and Lakeline Boulevard. The fishing lake is open year-round during daylight hours to all Crystal Falls residents and their guests. Fishing permits are not required for Crystal Falls residents. The beautiful lake is stocked with bass, catfish, and perch. Lake rules limit each person to one pole and a catch of two fish per day. The fishing lake also includes a picnic area and it’s conveniently located near the 18-hole disc golf course. Parking is at the Quarry Park amenity center. 

Playscapes

Residents Crystal Falls enjoy a variety of neighborhood amenities, all within minutes from their doors. Children of Crystal Falls have three Playscapes sites, each designed to thrill and entertain. In The Boulders there’s a Playscapes structure adjacent to the Grotto pool, designed for ages 2 to 12 and accessed via key card. On Osage and Lakeline in The Highlands is the Quarry Park Playscapes, also for ages 2 to 12. It features slides, swings, and climbing structures. The Tennis Court Playscapes is for ages 2 to 6, a structure with slides, climbing rock, and more. For parents, there’s parking in the lot next to the 19th Hole Pavilion.

19th Hole Pavilion

The 19th Hole Pavilion, a premier Crystal Falls community amenity, is located on Crystal Falls Parkway at the western end near the Golf Club’s driving range and adjacent to the tennis court. The stunning stone pavilion serves not just the residents of Crystal Falls, but provides a year-round venue for outdoor Leander events. It’s the ideal location for neighborhood picnics, family reunions, and private parties plus the beauty of the Pavilion offers a picturesque setting for weddings and special events. The site also has a kitchen with built-in grills, a fireplace, and containers to keep drink and food cold.
