School-aged children living in the Crystal Falls community have access to the Leander Independent School District (LISD) and its facilities. The LISD has 37 campuses and an overall enrollment of more than 34,000 students in kindergarten through high school. Crystal Falls children may attend nearby LISD elementary schools that include Knowles, Winkley, and Whitestone. All three elementary schools flow into both Leander Middle School or the Running Brushy Middle School. Both local Middle Schools serve grades sixth through eighth. The Middle Schools then flow into the Leander High School, home of the Lions, located on Bagdad Road about three blocks from the Crystal Falls community entrance. In addition, the community has easy proximity to several early childhood centers nearby, designed for the youngest family members.
